We're updating our legal agreements.
Hi Danial Collyer,

It's important to us that we keep our legal agreements simple, transparent and easy to understand. For that reason on the 29th March 2017 we'll be updating our User Agreement including the Buyer and Seller Protection Policies, Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement, Privacy Policy and Refunded Returns Service General Conditions of Use.

Some of the changes are outlined below, for more details visit our Policy Updates page.

Changes to Refunded Returns
Refunded Returns can give you a refund on return shipping costs for eligible purchases. If you haven't already done so, you can opt in for this free service at PayPal.com.au/Returns or in your PayPal account.

If you're already enjoying Refunded Returns, here are the changes that we'll be making soon:
  • You're now eligible for up to 8 refunds per calendar year, rather than per anniversary of the date you first activated the service.
  • We've increased the time limit to submit your refund request from 14 to 30 days from the date you shipped the item back to the seller.
  • We've increased the time limit to submit your supporting documents from 7 to 14 days from the date of your request.

How do I know this is not a fake email?

Emails from PayPal will always address you by your first name and last name. Fake or 'phishing' emails tend to have generic greetings such as "Dear PayPal member". If unsure, forward the suspicious email to phishing@paypal.com.au and we'll let you know if it's really coming from us or not.
