Hello to all parents and carers of students at Trinity Bay State High school. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you the school community and congratulate you on choosing Trinity Bay SHS for your son and daughter. The school has been successfully providing educational services to students and families since 1960. The school enjoys a very positive reputation in Cairns and offers a very comprehensive range of Junior and senior secondary courses and pathways. The school also provides exciting and unique opportunities for students through Excellence programs in Visual and Performing Arts, Science and Physical Education.

The school is strongly supported by a very active Parents and Citizens Association, providing curriculum support and project initiatives to construct new facilities as well as upgrade existing infrastructure at the school. The Parents and Citizens Association provides significant input and guidance to the governance of the school, assisting the Principal and the administration staff.

Through this support the school is better positioned to respond and meet new directions that are required to meet the educational needs of students and teachers of the 21st century.

The Parents and Citizens Association meet at the school every third Wednesday of the month in E Block at 6:30pm, on the second floor, in the large conference room. I would like to invite you to attend these meetings, to become involved and contribute to current and future educational initiatives and directions of our students. I look forward to meeting you at our next meeting held at the school on the 15th of February.
